NEW BUILD WITH PASSIVHAUS PLUS CERTIFICATION
At Ca Na Lola, we designed a detached single-family home in Campos, Mallorca, blending traditional aesthetics with cutting-edge, sustainable construction technology.
This Passivhaus Plus project features an exceptionally low air infiltration rate (0.38 ren/h at 50 Pa) and a photovoltaic system that produces twice the energy the house consumes annually.
We created spaces with varying degrees of privacy: an archway leads into an open living room combined with kitchen and dining areas, a short hallway connects three double bedrooms with private bathrooms, and an outdoor area centered around a pool that serves as a peaceful oasis.
Our bioclimatic design strategies optimize orientation, solar gain, and cross ventilation to minimize energy demand. We also implemented Passivhaus principles: thick insulation, high-performance windows, thermal bridge-free design, airtightness, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
Ca Na Lola reflects our architectural philosophy: respect for the environment, energy efficiency, and a harmonious dialogue between tradition and modernity.
